The AI model itself runs on your device, which is what makes the app private and fully offline. The one-time download fetches the model file. Use Wi-Fi, keep the app open or check back later: the download continues in the background and can be paused and resumed. On Android it shows a progress notification while it runs. You can read the survival guides while it downloads.
About 3.7 GB for the standard model: the 2.6 GB model file, a one-time setup file of about 0.8 GB that the model creates the first time it starts, and some room for the phone itself. The Pro model needs about 6.2 GB. The app checks this before downloading and tells you how much to free if space is short.
Yes. After the one-time model download, everything (chat and the survival library) works with no connection at all, including in airplane mode.
The app interface is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hebrew, and Arabic. The AI chat understands and answers in many languages: just write in yours. The survival guides themselves are written in English.
In Settings, under AI Model, "Delete the Standard model" removes the 2.6 GB model file and its setup file (about 3.4 GB in total). You can download it again anytime. Deleting the app removes everything.
On-device models are compact and can make mistakes. Treat answers as helpful drafts, not facts, and verify anything important. You can flag a problematic answer with the Report button under it. For medical or emergency situations, always rely on professionals and official guidance.
On iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions. On Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions, or use "Manage subscription" in the app's Settings.
