Offline AI ("the App") is an AI chat application that runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information, and we operate no servers. Your conversations never leave your device.
We do not require registration and do not collect any personally identifiable information. No account is needed to use the App, and the App does not send your data to any server.
On first launch, the App downloads its AI language model file (about 2.4GB; an optional larger "Pro" model of about 3.7GB is available to Premium subscribers) directly from Hugging Face's public content delivery network. This is a standard file download: no personal information, no chat content, and no identifiers are sent by the App. As with any internet download, the file host can see routine connection metadata such as your IP address. After the download, the App functions fully offline and makes no further network requests.
The optional Premium subscription is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, store, or process any payment details or personal billing information. Purchase entitlements are verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit framework.
Your conversations, preferences, and the downloaded model are stored locally on your device only. You can delete conversations in the app, delete the model from Settings, or delete the App itself — which removes all of its data.
Responses are generated by an on-device AI model. They may be inaccurate. Nothing you type is used to train any model and nothing is shared with us or with third parties.
The App does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it collects no information at all.
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
